Welcome to the Shibudokan Dojo Website

The Shibudokan Dojo is one of the main dojos in the North East which make up the North East Aikikai. The Dojo is a full member of the British Birankai (British Aikikai), who are recognised members of the Aikikai Foundation, Aikido World Headquarters, Tokyo, Japan.

The Aikido practiced at Shibudokan has an unsurpassed pedigree with a lineage right back to the Hombu Dojo. All instructors are of the highest calibre and have a thorough and in-depth technical knowledge of all aspects of technique. All coaches are insured with the British Aikido Board.
