Instructor

Sensei Paul Milburn began practicing Aikido in 1985 under Master Andre Nocquet of France, himself a direct disciple of the founder of Aikido, and his UK organisation at that time.

Sensei Milburn trained widely under various teachers in the Hombu, Iwama and Yoshinkan styles both at home and abroad and became a member of the prestigious Dai Nippon Butoku Kai in Kyoto, Japan. Japan's oldest Martial arts organisation (Circa 1895), Sensei Milburn was given membership (GM3508) certified by Hamada Sensei (Hanshi) of the DNBK.

Latterly Sensei Milburn came to study the style of Kazuo Chiba (8th dan, Shihan) and decided this was the style and Sensei he wanted to devote his life to. He joined the British Birankai and currently holds the rank of Shodan within the Birankai. He is one of the teachers within the North East Aikikai.
